Oceans are water bodies around the world. They house water resources including marine life, and as well an embodiment of an ecosystem for living and nonliving organisms. Lakes are an integral part of oceans. They are wide-flowing water surrounded by land. They house marine life from where the fishermen supply seafood. They are natural water purifiers and conservators. They are substantial water sources for communities and cities. No doubt, they are the lives and livelihoods of individuals, communities, and nations. Despite these values, it is disheartening to know that water bodies are quickly degraded courtesy of human activities on the environment, particularly in waste disposal. 

Today, in a bid to protect water bodies, Paragon One partners with Whole Planet Initiative to advocate water protection and environmental conservation at Eleyele Lake Community in Ibadan. We started with a community entrant event involving a house-to-house introduction of the project to the community to enable their effective participation and cooperation. It is a week-long exercise.
