It is a known fact that...

It is a known fact that...

It is a known fact that water covers 70.9 percent of the planet’s surface. Sadly, 97 per cent of the water is salt water making it unusable for homes and other secondary uses. Being that as it may, a number of people around the world are faced with water stress. World Health Organization (WHO) pegs it at 2.1 people facing unsafe water challenge. The untold problem of drought isn't helping matter as well. Water use is growing arithmetically with population growth. Unless this trend is reversed and we come up with a way to share water fairly and sustainably throughout the planet, two-thirds of the global population will face water “stress” by 2025. Just three years from now, I'm sure you and i would be alive as witnesses. We can't afford to push ourselves and the world to water related disaster. This is while it's important to begin to conserve water now, not for our immediate future alone but for posterity sake. In the mean time, we can imbibe the culture of: 👉Take a Shower of 5 Minutes or Less. 👉Install a Water-saving Toilet Flush System. 👉Turn Off the Tap While Brushing Your Teeth & Washing Your Hands. 👉Don't Keep The Tap Running While Washing Clothes/Utensils. 👉Close Taps Properly and Fix Leaking Taps, Pipes & Toilets. 👉 Reduce, reuse and recycle water. You might feel this doesn't concern you because you have the resources at your disposal, remember that epidemics or pandemics like the case of Covid-19 isn't a respecter of social, economic, political, military or cultural status.
