FARMING IS A FORM OF SPORT

I was born and raised in an agrarian community where fruits and vegetables are in ample supply. It was so common that we regarded it not.

God bless Baba Ige, my sports teacher, and some other teachers who taught us the importance of fruits and vegetables to healthy living.

Despite this, the commonality of these valuables made them valueless until I found myself where I had to pay so much to acquire them.

In a little while, my education, exposure, and experiences, I could attest to the miracles of fruits in promoting good health and well-being for consumers.

Consequently, fruits and vegetables became an integral part of my meals.

Unlike then when the ampleness of the valuable items made them worthless, climate change, land degradation, urbanization, and population growth among other factors have drastically reduced the availability of these goods just as manpower to access them has also reduced.

And now, the unavailability has subjected mankind to malnutrition and health impairment.

What is the way out my people?

As earlier mentioned. Urbanization, population growth, climate change, land degradation, and shortage of manpower for production are linked to this shortage in addition to the limited financial capacity to acquire the available ones.

Whichever factor is responsible for your limited access to these essential commodities, do well to solve it for your good health and well-being.

In the meantime, I will admonish you to grow fruits and vegetables for your personal and family consumption. It takes just weeks, months, or a few years to have more than enough of these commodities for yourself. Believe me, you'd be glad you did.

Before I drop my pen, let me give you this Healthy Living Hack.

Do you know that Land Cultivation is a form of exercise that keeps your body fit just like you do in the gym? Yes, you heard me! The only difference is that you have more rewards from your sweat. Try it out and don't forget to thank me later.
