WHO WILL SAVE MANKIND I?

WHO WILL SAVE MANKIND I?

WHO WILL SAVE MANKIND?

Dear Nigerians,
I bring you greetings from the Whole Planet Initiative  and other environmental voices around the world.

I don't need to ask how you are doing in this critical state of the economy of our dear nation. I can only wish you the strength to withstand whatever shocks it brings.

It is a fact that technology has come to revolutionize the world leaving nothing untouched.

It is also important to understand the cons it imposes on mankind.

One thing distinguishes the era of our forebears, that is the life in abundance they had: good health, sound minds, and vitality they enjoyed even to their good old age.

Literature attributes these luxuries to the agape love they had with the natural environment.

Today, life expectancy is staked to 48 years on average. Diseases take a toll on mankind. Hunger and starvation are humans' next-door neighbors. Depression and suicide are on the increase.

How did we get here?

Perhaps, a sincere answer to this might help us to retrace our steps, possibly!

Research has it that we are a product of our environment. The water, food, and air we live on make us.

When we understand this, how come we subject our lifelines to gross abuse?

It is often said that the law between man and the environment must not be broken. How are we hell-bent on subjugating the environment our lifeline and yet expect to live?

Technology brought us harmful substances to kill the environment, has the tech been able to rescue mankind from the aftermath?

Unfortunately, my generation is paying dearly for the past actions and inactions of some beings who paraded themselves as leaders and sown the sour grapes that are setting generations' teeth on edge. What are we the present doing to save ourselves and the unborn generations from the perils?

Little sleep, little slumber, deadly herbicides creeped into our nation, killed our medicinal plants, and left us with toxic food, water, and air that degenerate into diseases we battle. It isn't our fault, after all we weren't there to challenge the unholy agenda.

Here comes GMO seeds in a mission to complete the uncompleted herbicide work. It came in sheep's clothing but in wolf's might to STEAL our natural wealth, KILL our genes and immunity, and DESTROY our social fabric with hardship and pollute the natural environment that sustains us?

What are we doing about it? Is this how we fold our hands till we become the living dead?

I love you 😘
