Food Production, Everyone is a Stakeholder.

Food Production, Everyone is a Stakeholder.

Food shortage is one of the issues that almost toppled the existence of Nigeria state in 2024.

The challenge was so prevalent that the unavailable naira was chasing non-existing food commodities.

It was so depressing for the poor that anger and hunger were glaringly written on their faces, and the rich were forced to acknowledge the reality.

How did we get there?

Statista estimates Nigeria's labor force at 75.5 million population. That is more than ⅓ of Nigeria's population.

It can be inferred that the hands that work are fewer than the mouths that eat.

Sensibility would teach that we should have learned our lesson!

Have we truly?

Of course, we can't shy away from the most dangerous 21st-century challenge of climate change.

The incursion it made to Nigeria in late June, July, and August, where dry spells destroyed multibillion farm projects across Nigeria, is a simple message for the coming year.

If you fall in the category of those who languished over famine in 2024, what are you doing to avert a similar tragedy in the coming years?

One of my very Egbons submitted earlier that we should all die if we can't provide food for ourselves! Do you agree?

Some people are working to be better already.

Brother Ojuse Omotayo Richmond  despite being sufficient is yet advancing his prosperity through urban garden.

What excuse do you have?

Behold, the potato (OFSP) I planted on June 2nd in my compound, using my home waste to grow. That's less than 3 months of maturity.

What do you think will happen if we all take action in any available capacity?

We'd not just increase our individual prosperity; Nigeria, our dear country, will regain its image continentally and globally.

I'm not unmindful of the leadership deficit that is hurting us, do also examine your style of followership.

This is a simple call to let the change you wanna see in Nigeria begin with you.
