Idere, Ibarapa, Oyo State Nigeria Cherubim and Seraphim Church Advocacy

The impacts of climate change across the globe cannot be overemphasized. If the advanced countries of the world like Germany, Belgium and co could have their fair share of the menace despite their know how, how much more the rural dwellers with little to non existing physical, educational, social and technological protection against climate and environmental shocks!

To worsen the situation, rural dwellers ignorantly constructs more hazards in their bid to make survival particularly in resources use, waste management, environmental management etc.

This in particular should resonate with global Communities, regional and state stakeholders to be more interested in improving their envionmental knowledge, coping skills, adaptation and resilience.

More so, that it houses 45% of the world population and 47.25 of Nigerians according to world bank estimate is a pointer for a delibrate and concerted efforts to safeguard them and to prevent crisis that could emanate.

As part of our commitment at Whole Planet Initiative to raise advocacy for the sustainability of our environment and manage hazards including climate change, we took our awareness to Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Idere, Ibarapa, Oyo State today, Sunday, 10th July, 2022.

One important prerequisite to effective Advocacy is the necessity of the discourse and the convenience/attention of the listeners. This we sufficiently satisfied today at Idere.
