Last week Monday, 29th Aug 2022, I joined Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and Business Management Organizations (BMOs) Leaders at the national and subnational levels to design and develop an effective and efficient national CSOs/BMOs directory and CSO Management Information System (MIS). The goal of the meeting was to take the inputs of key stakeholders necessary to aid an effective design of the platform, and to ensure its relevance to the users.
.
The program was organised by the Nigeria Network of NGOs (NNNGO) in partnership with Palladium under the Strengthening Civic Advocacy & Local Engagement (SCALE) project supported by USAID.
Something peculiar to inclusive growth and development of advanced countries is that, their policies and projects are issue based, which is a product of in-depth research and analysis. Highly commendable of NNNGO, they have been leading this frontier over time in Civil Society sector in Nigeria.
Many of the myriads problems and emerging Issues affecting the country Nigeria would be addressed if our policy makers, development agencies and partners leverage on the potentials of brilliant minds and research Institutions. Moreso, the resources expended on white elephant projects around the country would have been more efficiently utilised.
Consequently, I charge Nigerian leaders to be more delibrate in getting Nigeria working. Nigeria shall be greater.
